The North Texas Council of Government wanted to create a memorable video that helped prepare the citizens of North Texas in case disaster struck by promoting their website This 30-second public service announcement video was for social media, public events, and broadcast TV.


We developed the storyboards and concept. Using the employees of four different counties, we filmed the entire video at our studios.


Cactex Media worked with a team of Emergency Management professionals from around the DFW area to develop a video that would use humor to promote the services provided on the KnoWhat2Do award-winning website.


The video was used as a social campaign on Facebook and on broadcast TV. It aired throughout the month of July, as families plan for back-to-school. The website traffic increased by more than 40%, raising awareness for new visitors and parents in the DFW area.
